AN 18-YEAR-OLD has been detained by police after being found with a weapon.
The large knife was seized by officers in Halifax.
A tweet from an account belonging to a West Yorkshire Police sergeant posted: “Tackling our little mob and another disturbing find, clearly not intended for grating cheese.
“18-year-old in cells and another weapon off the streets.”

It comes just days after another weapons find was made in the town.
Sergeant Softley tweeted that officers were targeting an “emerging mob” in relation to the discovery.
