ONE of the country's best stand-ups will perform at a Saltaire venue's comedy night.

Fred MacAulay, who has starred on Have I Got News For You and former BBC panel show They Think It’s All Over, will headline 'Comedy At The Live Room' at Caroline Street Social Club on Thursday, July 28, from 7.30pm.

Fred also has a daily weekday radio show on BBC Radio Scotland. He will be performing in Saltaire as part of a number of tour dates in July including shows in his native Scotland.

The Saltaire comedy night next month will include a performance by Ben Norris. He has worked as a DJ/presenter on MTV and appeared on the BBC’s Stand Up Show.
