CITY adverts will be seen around Leeds Bradford Airport this season as part of a new digital partnership.

The agreement will see the Yeadon-based airport become an associate partner of the club.

The Bantams will use advertising screens over the course of the season, which are currently displaying ‘Own the Moment’ 2022/2023 season-ticket branding.

The airport will also become an official partner of the Bradford City Business Club, which is set to relaunch this year.

John Cunliffe, commercial and strategy director at Leeds Bradford Airport, said: “This is the beginning of a strong partnership with Bradford City AFC.

“As an airport which serves thousands of passengers in Bradford and the wider region, this partnership will provide us and the football club with many fantastic opportunities.

“We cannot wait to see more claret and amber throughout the terminal in the weeks and months to come.”

City’s chief commercial officer, Davide Longo, said: “We are pleased to be partnering with Leeds Bradford International Airport in what is a strategic agreement aimed at increasing advertising opportunities for both parties.

“As one of the largest airports in Yorkshire, and one of the busiest in the UK, LBA presents us with the perfect opportunity to reach a different audience and introduce more people to Bradford City AFC.

“We are looking forward to seeing Leeds Bradford Airport also take centre stage inside the Utilita Energy Stadium and across our social media channels, while also officially partnering the soon-to-be-relaunched Bradford City Business Club.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank Dan Waddington and his colleagues at Leeds Bradford International Airport for their fantastic support, and we look forward to seeing this partnership go from strength the strength.”
