VEHICLES were stolen during a series of burglaries in Bradford, Keighley and Ilkley.

A van was taken in a burglary in Plumpton Lea, Wrose, between 11pm on Sunday and 3am yesterday.

A police spokesperson said the suspect/s gained entry to the house by snapping the lock of the side door.

They then stole the keys to a Mercedes Sprinter van and made off with it. 

At 2.25am on Sunday, CCTV captured a car being stolen in a burglary at an address on Rupert Road, Ilkley.

Police reported the suspects broke into the home, stole a number of items before making off in the black Audi A3 using keys taken from the house.

The vehicle was later found abandoned in Saltaire. 

The theft of a moped in Keighley has also seen one suspect arrested.

A police spokesperson said that at 7pm on Saturday a burgundy Lexmoto Dart moped was stolen from outside Aldi on Gresley Road, Keighley.

Two suspects, wearing balaclavas, were seen to tamper with the ignition and ride off on the moped onto Cavendish Street. 

A suspect was later identified and arrested for the theft and the moped has been recovered.
