A MAN was treated at hospital following a house fire in Bradford last night.

Bingley, Dewsbury and Wakefield fire stations were called to Beamsley Road, Shipley, at 6.38pm.

The house fire involved a kitchen and crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a high-powered fan to clear smoke from property.

A spokesperson for the West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "One male occupant suffered slight smoke inhalation and made his own way to hospital for treatment."
