A BRADFORD man was fined in court for having too many items in the boot of his Land Rover in London.

Kaldeep Singh-Dulay, of Ashfield Grove in Heaton, committed the 'use a vehicle in a condition likely to cause danger of injury' crime in East Ham.

It occurred on High Street South at around 6pm on October 29 of last year.

The court said the car was dangerous because the number of items in the rear of the vehicle meant there was no visibility through the back window.

The offence was contrary to section 40A(a) of the Road Traffic Act 1988 and Schedule 2 to the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988.

The 58-year-old was fined £80 and had to pay £100 in court costs and a £34 victim surcharge.

Singh-Dulay also received three points on his driving licence.

The case was heard in Bromley Magistrates' Court on Friday, May 20.
