Three men have been arrested on suspicion of kidnap following the discovery of a cannabis farm in Pudsey.

West Yorkshire Police responded to calls about a disturbance in the street near Claremont Grove, Lowtown, and Manor House Street around 12.42am on Sunday, June 6.

Officers cordoned off the scene, receiving further reports of a man being forced into a car and driven away.

Officers then came across a large cannabis farm within the former Barclays bank building at the junction of Lowtown and Manor House Street.

A scene remains in place today while the cannabis farm is forensically examined and dismantled.

The victim’s whereabouts are currently unknown at this time.

Three men have been arrested on suspicion of kidnap in relation to the initial incident and they remain in custody, councillor Simon Seary (Conservative, Pudsey) said.

Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances, West Yorkshire Police revealed, while they continue searching for the unidentified victim.
