A BRADFORD tailoring firm has got into the patriotic spirit through one of their long-serving staff members.

Sophie Brush, who has worked at IK Collections for the last 45 years, did a royal wave outside the firm’s Westgate shop in the countdown to the celebrations to mark the Queen’s 70 years on the throne.

Imran Khan, owner of IK Collections, says her appearance at the shop’s entrance proved popular with passers-by and motorists.

He said: “Sophie looks like the Queen and she is our queen at the shop.

“Drivers were beeping their car horns as they went past.

“We wanted to do something for the Jubilee. Children who saw her outside the shop thought Sophies was the Queen.

“Sophie is very excited about the Platinum Jubilee.”
