A BRADFORD woman has appeared in court for a spate of theft and racially/religiously aggravated assaults.
Sian Baxter, 48, of Church Street, Shipley, was given a community order for a host of charges.
In the first, she stole wipes, cushions, nappies, children’s toys and clothing and candles, worth £250.61, from Asda, Owlcotes Centre, Pudsey, on November 1, 2021.
She was convicted of assault by beating, after she assaulted a woman at Asda, Owlcotes Centre, Pudsey, on November 1, 2021. She was also ordered to pay £75 compensation for this offence.
Baxter was also convicted for a charge of racially/religiously aggravated common assault/beating, which took place on November 1, 2021. She was also ordered to pay £150 compensation.
She was convicted of a charge of theft from a shop, for stealing groceries, worth £125, from Morrisons, Enterprise Way, Bradford, on November 23, 2021.
In a further theft from a shop charge, she stole items, worth £47.58, from Pound Stretcher, Enterprise Way, Bradford, on November 23, 2021.
Baxter was also convicted for stealing a host of items including food, clothing, clothes and toiletries, worth £338.51, from Morrisons, Bradford Road, Idle, on October 21, 2021.
She was sentenced at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court on May 23, 2022.
