A MAN has been ordered to abstain from alcohol after appearing in court to face two charges.
Arif Khan, 30, of Chellow Dene View, in the Daisy Hill area of Bradford, appeared before Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court earlier this month.
He was charged with two offences of using threatening/abusive/insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment/alarm/distress.
The first charge was related to an incident in Manningham in September 2020.
The second was related to an incident on the same day on a ward at Bradford Royal Infirmary.
Khan pleaded guilty to both offences.
A community order was made and according to court documents, Khan must abstain from alcohol for a period of 60 days.
A Rehabilitation Activity Requirement was also imposed for a maximum period of 25 days.
