HUNDREDS of classic cars will be on show at a special Yorkshire event next month.

On Sunday, June 12, the vehicles will be featured at Ripon Racecourse for the 23rd Ripon Classic Car and Bike Show.

Great British Motor Shows will bring the magnificent machines to delighted audiences, with the event featuring compact kit cars, classic Austin 7s, motorcycles, vans, classic commercials, 4x4s, ex-military vehicles and modern supercars.

Club stands include North East Volkswagen Audio Group, Corvette Club and Mercedes SLK Club.

Event organiser, Steve Bishop, said: “It’s a double celebration this year, as everyone’s excited about the show returning after two years in the garage.

“Like the Queen, we’re celebrating heritage and longevity, and just like her racehorses, we’ve got some truly thoroughbred horsepower under starter’s orders too!”

Located just north of Harrogate and only five miles from the A1M, the racecourse boasts excellent road, rail and bus links.

It also offers free parking, extensive visitor amenities and plenty of refreshment stops.

Sponsored by Autoserve, the event is running from 10am to 4pm, with admission priced at just £8.50 per adult and £3 for children. Dogs on leads are also welcome.
