A BRADFORD woman has been banned from driving for six months for failing to comply with police.
Shahida Yasin, 48, of Nab Wood Crescent in Shipley, was found guilty of not complying with a police request on February 3 and was sentenced last Friday at Harrogate Magistrates' Court.
She pleaded not guilty to the charge on July 7 in 2020.
The offence was in relation to a request made in York by, or on behalf of, the Chief Officer of Police for North Yorkshire.
The request was for information from Yasin relating to the identification of the driver of an Audi A3, who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.
Yasin was disqualified from driving for six months, which was obligatory due to repeat offending.
The 48-year-old was also ordered by the court to pay £832 in total.
This includes a £180 fine, a £32 surcharge to fund victim services and costs of £620.
Yasin will pay the balance off in £15 weekly instalments from June 3.
