ALL lanes have now re-opened on the M62 following an early-hours smash on the motorway.
National Highways said it was closed from 4.30am after a car travelling on the eastbound carriageway crossed the central reservation and came to rest on the opposite side.
A major clear-up operation caused delays for drivers through the rush hour.
In an update, National Highways said: "All lanes have now reopened on the M62 in both directions within J25 near Brighouse following clear-up and recovery of the vehicles.
"Please allow extra time for your journey as there are approx. 20 mins delay on approach."
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "Police received reports of a road traffic collision involving two vehicles on the westbound M62, close to junction 25, at 4.21am this morning.
"Two people were taken to hospital, but their injuries are not believed to be serious.
"Traffic was diverted while the road was cleared."
