AN arrow was found in a weapons search of a Bradford park. 

Officers from the Bradford South Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) attended three different parks in the area.

It was part of Operation Sceptre, an anti-knife crime focused on taking knives off the streets and reducing the number of people involved in knife crime. 

They found the arrow in Brackenhill Park in Great Horton.

It was located in the undergrowth and will be destroyed. 

A spokesperson for the Bradford South NPT said: "Officers have engaged with the local community in each park and also carried out searches for weapons within the undergrowth and confines of the park.
