Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was seriously injured in a hit and run.
Bradford CID is continuing to investigate the collision on Caledonia Street, close to HQ Banqueting Suite, Rainbow Primary Leadership Academy and Trafalgar House Police Station.
The incident took place at about 2.40pm on Friday, May 20, when an Audi A3 was in collision with a female pedestrian.
The Audi driver then made off from the scene.
The woman was taken to hospital, where she is being treated for injuries which are serious but not believed to be life threatening.
Following enquiries, a 41-year-old man was later arrested in connection with the incident.
The vehicle has also been recovered.
The man remains in police custody for questioning.
