A BRADFORD district cricket club will hold its annual beer and gin festival this summer.

Baildon Cricket Club’s three-day extravaganza, held at their Jenny Lane headquarters in memory of the event’s founder Simon Heginbotham, will take place from Friday, July 1 to Sunday, July 3.

The festival starts at 6pm until late on Friday, July 1, when there will be music from Live Lounge and food from Dough Baby Pizza, who will be on site all weekend.

On Saturday, July 2, the festival starts at 11am and will run alongside the first team’s game at home to Morley, with live music later on from The Headaches and White Roses.

There will be a cricket tournament on Sunday, July 3 (10am-6pm) to finish the weekend off.

Entry is free, but sponsors are being sought.

To sponsor a beer barrel costs £75, which will include a £20 drinks voucher and a mention in Saturday’s match-day programme, as well as on the club’s website and social media channels.

A £40 gin sponsorship also includes all of the above, while a beer and gin sponsorship is £105, with the drinks voucher upgraded to £40.
