A DERELICT former blacksmith’s workshop next to a rail station could be flattened to make way for a new industrial building.
Located next to Low Moor Station, 652 Cleckheaton Road is a stone workshop building that has been vacant for years.
Due to its crumbling state, demolition orders have been placed on the property in recent years.
Now a planning application has been submitted to Bradford Council that will see the building replaced by a 70 square metre industrial unit.
Submitted by Lee Naylor, the application says the unit would create three jobs, and have parking for three cars.
Any future business at the unit would open from 8am to 4pm.
A decision on the application is expected in July.
