The BMW was stopped on the M62 after going at 140mph
A DRIVER was clocked speeding at an eye-watering 140mph on the motorway.
PC Martin Willis, better known as 'Motorway Martin', shared the details on social media site Twitter.
He said the BMW driver had a "complete disregard for road safety" and already had six points on his licence for speeding.
He said: "Just another of the many drivers on the #M62 tonight who have a complete disregard for road safety.
"The driver of this vehicle even had the audacity to try and claim that he was only doing 75mph. He already has 6 points on his licence (you've guessed it) for speeding.
"No words."
