A FREIGHT firm has been fined for failing to provide police with the identity of a driver who was alleged to have committed an offence in Bradford.
Fresh Faces Limited, which is based in Beza Road in Leeds and was incorporated in November 1980, pleaded guilty to not complying with a police request on July 12, 2019.
The case was heard at Kirklees Magistrates' Court on Monday.
A representative of the company appeared in court.
Fresh Faces Limited had previously pleaded not guilty on December 13 last year, but changed this on Monday.
It is in relation to a request made at the Traffic Bureau in Bradford by, or on behalf of, the Chief Officer of Police for West Yorkshire.
The request was for information from Fresh Faces Limited relating to the identification of the driver of a white Citroen Berlingo, who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.
Fresh Faces Limited was ordered by the court to pay £653 in total.
This includes a £498 fine, a £50 surcharge to fund victim services and costs of £105.
The balance must be paid by June 13.
The firm's guilty plea was taken into account when sentencing, but this credit was reduced to the lateness.
