PLANS to create a roof-top café on a building on the edge of Bradford city centre have been revealed.
The Sanderson Building is on Feversham Street, next to the Bradford Sea Cadets building and near the junction of Leeds Road and Shipley Airedale Road.
Currently the building is home to a number of different shops and businesses.
Plans for employment development on overgrown city centre site are approved
A new planning application submitted to Bradford Council this month by a Mr Usman calls for the roof of the building to become a café with an outdoor seating area.
The application includes few details of the potential business, but does refer to the outdoor area as an “external shisha bar area.”
The café would open between 5pm and midnight.
A decision on the application is expected next month.
