POLICE in Bradford have issued images of people they would like to speak to following a series of cruel thefts in the city centre.
The first incident
Police want to speak to the woman in the first image after an envelope containing a substantial amount of cash was taken from a victim who had withdrawn the money from the Halifax bank in the city centre on January 22.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "The suspect is seen to follow the female victim and make three attempts to remove the envelope from her handbag before quickly making off and leaving via Bradford Interchange.
"Another confirmed attempted theft involving the same suspect was reported at Kirkgate Shopping Centre. On that occasion, a security guard was alerted and the woman left before being stopped.
"Anyone who recognises the woman in image 1 or who may have information about the incident is asked to call 101, or go online via www.westyorkshire.police.uk/101livechat quoting reference 13220038116."
The second incident
Officers would also like to speak to the women in images two and three after two incidents of theft at The Broadway shopping centre on April 4 this year.
"The victims remember being spoken to by one of the suspects while another removes their purses from their handbags," said a police spokesperson.
"It is also believed the female in image two has also been seen in Huddersfield town centre.
"Anyone who recognises the women in image 2 and/or 3 or who may have information about the incident is asked to call 101, or go online via www.westyorkshire.police.uk/101livechat quoting reference 13220064239 and 13220064238."
The third incident
Officers would like to speak to the women pictured in image four following a further incident of theft which happened in The Broadway at around 11am on May 17.
Anyone who recognises the woman in image 4 or who may have information about the incident is asked to call 101, or go online via www.westyorkshire.police.uk/101livechat quoting reference 13220265483.
