A MAN has admitted to displaying disorderly behaviour while drunk at a Bradford petrol garage.

David Steward committed the offence on April 9 at Shell CrossLane on Westgate Hill Road in Birkenshaw.

The garage is located on the roundabout which connects A650 Wakefield Road with B6135 Bradford and Wakefield Road.

As a result of the 'Drunk and disorderly in a public place' crime, he was discharged conditionally for nine months.

The 53-year-old, of Allen Court in Birkenshaw, is in the process of paying the £107 total (£85 court costs and £22 victim surcharge). This must be paid before June 1.

His actions were contrary to section 91(1) of the Criminal Justice Act 1967. 

Steward appeared at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates Court on Wednesday, May 4.
