A BRADFORD woman has appeared in court for stealing from a city shop.
Courtney Foster, 24, of Rowan Avenue, Thornbury, faced one theft from a shop charge.
She was convicted of stealing multiple items, worth a total of £132.19, from Home Bargains, Valley Road, Bradford, on December 8, 2021.
Foster was ordered to pay £66.10 compensation and £85 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service for the offence.
A collection order was made by the court and they made an application for benefit deductions of a total of £151.10. The offence committed by Foster was contrary to section 1(1) and 7 of the Theft Act 1968.
She pleaded guilty to the charge when she was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on May 12, 2022.
