PLANS for a cafe on the edge of the city centre have been approved after the applicants agreed to remove outdoor seating.
Earlier this year, Bradford Council refused a planning application to create a cafe and take away on Brayshaw Yard - off Lumb Lane and near it's junction with Westgate.
One of the reasons was that the plan included an outdoor seating area. Council officers said this would expose future customers to the high levels of air pollution.
Applicant Ahmed Marouf re-submitted the application, but this time for a business with no outdoor seating.
This second application has now been approved.

The Council's Clean Air Team said: " As long as no further outdoor seating area is included, we have no objection to this application."
One condition of the approval is that the business can only open from 9am to 11pm.
Plans to build a two storey building made up of three shops and two flats on this same site were approved in 2014, but work never started, and that permission has now lapsed.
