A MAN appeared in court after urinating on the walls of a hospital.
Jacob Pattison, 22, of Victoria Road, in Keighley, was sentenced on May 3 at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court.
He was charged with causing criminal damage to property valued under £5,000.
According to court documents, Pattison “damaged walls by urinating” at Airedale Hospital’s A&E department.
It happened on May 2 and Pattison pleaded guilty to the offence.
He received a 12-month conditional discharge; was ordered to pay £50 compensation; £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service and £22 to fund victim services.
Pattison’s guilty plea was taken into account when imposing sentence.
A collection order was made to recover the £157. He will pay it at £20 per month, commencing on May 31.
