A POPULAR farm shop in Bradford has raised £2,500 for charity after holding an easter festival last month.

Robertshaw’s Farm Shop in Thornton held the springtime festival from Wednesday, April 13 to Monday, April 18 to raise money for Paces, a leading specialist centre, charity and school for individuals with Cerebral Palsy and motor disorders.

There were activities for all the family - including the chance to meet the farm’s animals, take part in an Easter Egg Hunt, sit in a real tractor, have a pony ride and children even had the chance to meet the Easter bunny themselves.

Robertshaw’s owner James Robertshaw said: “We loved being able to hold our Springtime Festival and welcome our loyal shoppers and new visitors to the farm shop over the Easter weekend.
“Everyone gave so generously to such a brilliant Yorkshire charity which makes a difference to so many young people and adults from across our county and which we are proud to support.”

The money will go towards the charity’s New Home for Paces campaign as its special school plans a move to a new base in the city which will allow it to offer that life-changing support to more individuals from across the region.
