POLICE stopped a van for having a dodgy tyre and discovered the driver was disqualified.
Officers noticed the vehicle in the Leeds West area - which includes Thornbury and Tyersal - yesterday.
It was part of Operation Ashmill, an initiative which combines the expertise of local neighbourhood policing teams with other resources from across the force.
A Facebook post from West Yorkshire Police - Leeds West said: "Officers from Leeds District Bike team stopped the driver of this van yesterday during Operation Ashmill.
"The picture speaks for itself.
"The driver was also shown as being disqualified from driving."
