A PEDESTRIAN was rushed to hospital after they were hit by a vehicle on a key road this morning.
The crash occurred on Baildon Road at around 9am.
The injured person was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Otley Road was partially blocked with queuing traffic as a result of the scene.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "We were called at 9.03am this morning to reports of a vehicle in collision with a pedestrian on Baildon Road.
"One person has been taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
"Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dash cam footage is asked to contact police on 101 or use the live chat facility at www.westyorkshire.police.uk/contact quoting log 372"
By 10.30am, the Telegraph & Argus Live Traffic & Travel page said the incident and the road had been cleared with traffic now easing."
