Police have made an arrest in connection with a serious late night accident in Queensbury.
The incident between a lorry and a car took place on High Street - along the A647 Sand Beds road - on Wednesday night.
One person has been taken to hospital with serious injuries, but these are not believed to be life threatening.

The road has been closed both ways from Chapel Street to Station Road throughout the night while accident investigation teams gather evidence.

Police also closed A644 Brighouse Road both ways from Chapel Street to Park Lane.
West Yorkshire Police, Yorkshire Ambulance Service and firefighters from Halifax and Illingworth station responded to the collision.
The incident was first reported around 10.40pm.
Speaking on the incident last night, the AA website said: "Road closed due to crash, a car and a lorry involved.
"An air ambulance has been in attendance."
The AA added: "Traffic is coping well."
