JET2 is offering trips from Leeds Bradford Airport to the place named best value holiday hotspot in a study.
After this year’s Post Office Travel Money Holiday Report 2022 crowned the popular Turkish resort of Marmaris, as the ‘best value for money destination’, there is some potentially interesting news for local holidaymakers looking to enjoy a good value holiday in the Turkish sunshine from Leeds Bradford Airport.
The UK’s leading tour operator to Turkey is offering a programme of flights and holidays to Dalaman from Leeds Bradford Airport for summer 2022.
With up to eight weekly flights departing this summer, holidaymakers have choice and flexibility when it comes to reaching Marmaris.
The Post Office’s annual Holiday Money Report compared the cost of eight everyday tourist items across 36 destinations worldwide - including a cup of tea, a three-course evening meal for two with wine, a bottle of beer, glass of wine, can of Coca-Cola, sunscreen and insect repellent to reveal the holiday destinations offering the best value.
With a reported price drop of 37 per cent year-on-year and an average daily cost for common holiday spends standing at £26.13, Marmaris emerged as the destination where holidaymakers’ pounds will stretch the furthest.
