NEW research ranks Bradford fourth highest in England when it comes to investing in waste management.
It reveals the ten cities that invest the most, with Bradford coming in at the equivalent of £112 per person.
The study analysed Bradford along with 39 of the most populated cities and towns across England on factors such as waste collection, disposal, minimisation and trade waste to reveal the towns and cities investing the most into waste management.
The top-ranked location was Brighton and Hove at £135 per person, followed by Newcastle upon Tyne at £121, then Leeds at £118.
The research by GetAgent highlights that Bradford has invested more than £33.7 million in waste management, including £9.2m on waste collection, £20m on waste disposal, £2.8m on trade waste, and £1.2m on recycling.
