A WOMAN has been handed a community order for beating two police officers.

Sarah Feltham, 29, of Valley Road in Pudsey, was sentenced at Leeds Magistrates' Court last Wednesday.

She had pleaded guilty on the same day to two charges of assault by beating of an emergency worker.

Feltham was at her house on April 8 when she assaulted PC Matthew Warbrick and PC Joanne Wilson, who were acting in their duty.

Feltham was given a community order by the court, meaning she will have to complete up to 20 days of rehabilitation activities before May 3 next year.

The 29-year-old was also ordered to pay £100 to each of the officers in compensation - for a total of £200.

An application was made to deduct the amount from Feltham's benefits and the total must be paid by May 18.
