No one wants to get caught speeding but if you break the law you could lose your licence.
As well as fixed locations, West Yorkshire Police operate mobile speed cameras which can deploy to speeding hot spots and catch drivers unawares.
According to the West Yorkshire Casulatry Prevention Partnership these are the locations where you can expect to encounter a mobile speed camera:

In 2020 there were 648 people killed or seriously injured in collisions on the roads in West Yorkshire. We are committed to reducing this number.
To make this happen, the West Yorkshire Casualty Reduction Partnership provides enforcement services for the Local Authorities and Highways England in West Yorkshire in accordance with their road safety priorities.
It says: "We do this by installing road safety improvement measures at the worst casualty hotspots. These measures are for all road users and include installation of speed control safety cameras, mobile police camera patrols, and traffic signal cameras. Speed and red light violation cameras play an important role in reducing road casualties. Roads where cameras are present consistently see collision reduction rates that are better than the rest of the road network.
"Speed enforcement also addresses antisocial driver behaviour, contributing towards safer communities."
