POLICE investigating a burglary in Holmfirth have issued a further appeal after officers seized a vehicle suspected of being involved in the offence.
The black Audi A3 estate was recovered by officers yesterday (Monday) afternoon in Moorlands in Scholes and officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the vehicle being abandoned.
The car is believed to have been involved in a burglary on Thursday, 5 May at a residential property on Binns Lane in which a number of items of jewellery were taken.
Anyone with information or CCTV of the vehicle being abandoned is asked to contact Huddersfield CID via 101, quoting crime reference number 13220249523.
Information can also be given anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or online.
