Bradford motorists may face delays on the M606 next week as roadworks get underway.

The latest expected works list - with notes from National Highways - shows two closures are set to impact travel in the coming days.

But drivers will be able to take some solace in the fact that it is only expected to cause slight traffic delays.

Here's what we know about the latest planned road closures on the M606.

M606 roadwork closures in the coming week

Junction 2 to junction 3 on the M606 northbound and southbound will close from 8pm on Monday, May 16 to 6am on Tuesday, May 17. Slight delays under 10 minutes are expected while survey works take place.

Staygate roundabout on the M606 will close from 8pm on Friday, May 20 to 5am on Sunday, May 22. Slight delays under 10 minutes are expected due to a lane closure for Northern Powergrid work.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads.

It comes directly after the agency closed several junctions on the M606 for previous roadworks.
