A MAN is to appear before Bradford Crown Court charged with robbery and possession of an imitation firearm.

The offences are alleged to have happened in Bradford earlier this year.

Kane Denor Wilson appeared before Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court on April 27 to face the charges.

These are indictable-only offences, which means such cases are sent straight to the crown court to be dealt with by a judge following an initial hearing before magistrates’ court.

Wilson is accused of robbing Danish Ali of £6,400 on Kirkgate in Bradford on March 4 this year and of being in possession of an imitation firearm at the time.

The 34-year-old, of Dawlish Mount in Burmantofts in Leeds, will appear at Bradford Crown Court on May 25 at 9.30am.
