A BAD Boy Chiller Crew member has revealed he was once sacked from a job at The Broadway Shopping Centre.

Speaking to BBC Radio 1Xtra, BBCC's Gareth Kelly says falling asleep during a shift as a security guard landed him his P45.

The tale was told during a Bradford quiz which 'GK' participated in on the popular station.

After failing to correctly answer the name of the shopping centre which opened in the city in 2015, Kelly said: "My P45 said Westfield on it.

"I got sacked after I got caught falling asleep when I was supposed to be doing security."

The Westfield Corporation did build and operate the centre in its first year but it has always been known as The Broadway.

During the quickfire quiz, there were shout outs for the Telegraph & Argus as the city's oldest newspaper and Neil Street's Karachi Restaurant for being one of Bradford's oldest curry houses.

Although another GK remark bound to rattle Bradfordians was his answer to the oldest theatre in the city. The MC shouted Odeon instead of The Alhambra.

Other questions included what county is Bradford in, what is the largest city in the region, which One Direction member is from Bradford, and what is magician Steve Frayne's stage name.
