MORRISONS has donated packs of sanitary products to a Bradford-based charity after a successful scheme.

Following the success of Morrisons International Women's Day Buy One Donate One campaign, the supermarket has donated 240 packs of sanitary protection products to Bradford-based charity Together Women to distribute to women and girls across Yorkshire and Humberside.

This donation is one of many that will be taking place across the country as Morrisons plans to send 124,000 packs to local charities and community groups to help tackle the issue of period poverty.

Together Women has centres in Sheffield and Leeds. Its Bradford base is at Carlisle Business Centre in the city. It provides services and support for women and girls across northern England from its safe and friendly women-only centres.
