POLICE are not treating the death of a man as suspicious after a body was found on land in Pudsey earlier this week.
A police cordon was put in place after emergency services, including ambulances and a large number of police cars, were scrambled to land off Pudsey Road where a body was found on Tuesday morning.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "At 11.39am on Tuesday, police were contacted by the ambulance service who were attending a report of a male found unconscious on land near to the junction of Pudsey Road and Ridge View in Pudsey.
"He was pronounced dead at the scene.
"A post-mortem examination has been carried out and the death is not being treated as suspicious. The Coroner’s Office has been informed."
