A BRADFORD man has appeared in court charged with stealing chocolate and sweets from a city centre shop.
Kevin Wesolowski, 22, of Upper Piccadilly, was given a community order for the theft from a shop charge.
He stole chocolates and sweets, to the value of £21, from Poundland in The Broadway shopping centre on March 14 this year.
Under the terms of the community order, a rehabilitation activity requirement was made and he must carry out 80 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months.
He was also ordered to pay a £95 victim surcharge and £85 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
Wesolowski pleaded guilty to the theft from a shop charge when he was sentenced at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court on April 27.
