A LARGE police presence is in place today after a significant discovery has been made in Pudsey.
A police cordon is in place now on land off Pudsey Road, near Tawny Beck and Ridge View.
Emergency services, including ambulances, several police cars and a CID van, are at the scene.
One neighbour who witnessed the arrival of emergency services said: “About 10 minutes before 10 to 11 that’s when they turned up. An ambulance turned up first.
“There are three or four bobbies, they’ve cordoned off the stables.
“There’s lots of police still at the gate.
“I’ve seen coppers going into the stables with plastic bags..
“It’s a right carry on.”
Update: Police have now released an official statement about the incident.
