ONE of the stars of a TV series following Bradford midwives says she has been overwhelmed by feedback from viewers.

Yorkshire Midwives On Call shows the work of the home birth team at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust during the last few months.

Four of the episodes of the series have been broadcast with the next edition on BBC Two on Tuesday, May 3 at 8pm.

Midwife Michaela Walsh, from the team featured in the series, tweeted: “Overwhelmed by all the amazing feedback, comments and positivity that have been sent to our team... so proud.”

So far, the series has included Michaela who assisted junior doctors Rebecca and Tim with a water birth for their second child.

Filming for the BBC Two series started last summer and continued until February this year.
