A CRICKET legend has been kitted out by a district tailoring firm following a visit to Bradford.

Darren Gough, who played for Yorkshire and England, met with Imran Khan, owner of IK Collections, at Jinnah restaurant in Bradford and was subsequently measured for a new matchday suit.

Mr Gough, who was appointed as Yorkshire’s interim managing director cricket last year, opted for a grey-coloured suit from the Westgate-based firm. It will include the Yorkshire Cricket Club logo the jacket’s inside lining.

The bowler will have his suit delivered by the Bradford firm, which has already been made by them.

Mr Khan said: “I met Darren at Jinnah and he was a lovely chap.

“Having suits made for people like Darren is good news for Bradford and Yorkshire.

“I’m looking forward to seeing him wear it.”

Mr Gough becomes the latest sporting name to have a suit made by IK Collections after Bradford City manager Mark Hughes was measured up for his own clothes from the firm.

The cricket legend becomes the latest high-profile name to have a suit made by IK Collections, following the likes of Captain Sir Tom Moore, former Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn and Dancing On Ice judge Christopher Dean.
