Bradford motorists may face delays on the M606 this week as roadworks get underway.

The latest expected works list - with notes from National Highways - shows two closures are set to impact travel over the next week.

But drivers will be able to take some solace in the fact that it is only expected to cause slight traffic delays.

Here's what we know about the latest planned road closures on the M606.

M606 roadwork closures this week

The M606 will close from 8pm on Wednesday, April 27 to 6am on Thursday, April 28.

There will be lane closures for barrier repair works on the M606 northbound and southbound from junction 1 to junction 2.

The M606 will also be closed from 8pm on May 3 to 6am on May 4. There will be lane closures for survey works on the M606 northbound and southbound from junction 2 to junction 3.

National Highways said delays are expected last under 10 minutes.

The agency is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads.

It comes directly after National Highways closed the M606 from junction 26 to junction 3 for four days.
