A POPULAR history get-together is starting again in Aireborough after pausing because of the covid pandemic.
Organiser Carlo Harrison said: "After an absence of two years, I am very pleased to say that on behalf of Aireborough Historical Society I will be hosting a Chit Chat event on Saturday May 21 from 2pm to 4pm.
"It’s at the usual place - Yeadon Methodist Church Hall which is on the right-hand side of Yeadon Town Hall as you face it, there’s plenty of parking there. Same format as before, 100 plus photographs covering the history of Aireborough projected in large format with commentary from me and comments from you if you want to.
"Importantly, this as always is a free event, just leave a donation for the refreshments.
"I’m really looking forward to hearing: 'I have never seen that before', 'That’s my Mum!', “I am in that photo', 'Do you remember?'
"It’s two hours of good fun."
