A BRADFORD woman has appeared in court for stealing almost £800 worth of clothes from a city shop.
Nicole Riley, 36, of St Margarets Avenue, faced one charge of theft from a shop.
She was convicted of stealing clothing items, worth a total of £796, from Primark at Darley Street, Bradford, on March 28, 2022.
Riley was fined £80, ordered to pay £85 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £34 victim surcharge for the offence, which is contrary to the Theft Act 1968.
A collection order was made at the hearing and she will pay back at £5 per week.
Riley pleaded guilty to the theft from a shop charge when she was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on April 20, 2022.
