TWO MEN were due to appear in court this morning charged with firearms offences following a shooting in Huddersfield.
Rohail Haseeb, 21, of Fenton Road, Lockwood and Kian Griffith, 18, of Storths Road, Birkby were both due to appear before the morning session of Leeds Magistrates’ Court.
They have been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
It follows an alleged firearms offence on The Fairway, in the Fixby area of the town, on 22 March, in which the window of a house was damaged.
Police are continuing to investigate and have been conducting a number of enquiries including the search of properties on Fenton Road earlier this month.
Two other men remain on police bail after also being arrested as part of the investigation.
