A BRADFORD man has appeared in court charged with stealing items from a city centre pound shop.
Krisztian Tipan, 32, of Claremount Avenue, faced one offence of theft from a shop when he was before the court.
He was convicted of stealing items, to the value of £29, from Poundland stores, Broadway Shopping Centre, Bradford. The offence took place on March 29, 2022 and was contrary to section 1(1) and seven of the Theft Act 1968.
Tipan was handed a six-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service for the charge. A collection order was also made by the court.
He pleaded guilty to the charge when he was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on April 20, 2022.
