ROB Brydon and Jack Dee are among big comedy names making Bradford audiences laugh this spring.

* Rob Brydon brings his eight-piece band to St George's Hall on May 4 for a Night of Songs and Laughter. With a selection of songs from Tom Jones to Tom Waits and his famed impressions of the likes of Mick Jagger and Michael Caine, Rob will entertain with tales from his distant and recent past.

*Jack Dee, star of TV sitcoms Bad Move and Lead Balloon and host of Radio 4's legendary I’m Sorry I Haven’t A Clue brings his show Off The Telly to St George's Hall on May 5.

* John Shuttleworth - singer/organist and verbal rambler extraordinaire - is at King’s Hall, Ilkley, on May 6 with his latest show featuring classics like Y Reg and Pigeons in Flight, as well as new ditties written in lockdown, including Stay at Home and Protect the VHS. Between songs will be phone calls from Ken and Mary, plus John’s tips on how to cope with modern home life.

* Broadcaster, writer and campaigner Sandi Toksvig returns to St George's Hall on May 12 with Next Slide Please, exploring reasons to be cheerful after "coronacoaster gloom".

* Ed Byrne, star of Mock the Week and Live at the Apollo, takes a long hard look at himself in new show If I’m Honest on May 27 and tries to decide if he has any traits worth passing on to his children.
