A MAN has been handed a football banning order for being allegedly involved in violence or disorder in areas of the UK including Bradford.
Carl Fagan, 58, of Wiltshire Road, Chadderton, Oldham, appeared in court on one count of complaint for a football banning order.
The details of the charge said: “Complaint for a football banning order because it is alleged that the respondent has caused or contributed to violence or disorder in the United Kingdom or elsewhere, namely Oldham and Bradford. In accordance with section 14B of the Football Spectators Act 1989.”
A football banning order for Fagan was made for three years. He must report to Oldham Police Station, within five days of the making of this order.
The order was made at a hearing Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court on April 14, 2022.
